Trump and Global Peace-How?

The days crafted by Almighty Allah have changed, and Donald Trump has become the President of the United States. In his first speech after his victory, he stated that he had not initiated any wars during his previous four-year term and that he still aimed to end wars, not start them. He had previously advocated for negotiations over conflict in Ukraine and Gaza. Yes, President Trump’s philosophy of peace deserves praise, and we also commend the American voters who have essentially voted for peace. Mr. Trump advocated for peace, and when he spoke of his peaceful leadership during his four-year tenure, he became the president of the world’s superpower with a strong majority. Congressional candidates who were seen as supporters of the Gaza war suffered severe losses. Such events have shown that humanity desires peace. The American people have shown sympathy toward the oppressed in Gaza and made efforts to end the conflict, which is commendable. However, this worthy struggle was not appreciated by the current government; instead, they disregarded it, and today, those in power appear to be fading into insignificance.

My analysis is that the current situation is a breath of fresh air for the U.S. Pentagon, Defense, and Foreign Ministries in an atmosphere of stifling, defeated warfare. These three institutions have become symbols of oppression in the eyes of the American public and have a similar image globally. To change this perception, it is essential for conditions to change and for the Biden administration, which is responsible for the oppression, to be replaced. People worldwide protested against Israel, but America stood behind it. Thus, it would benefit America if a tyrannical government were to vanish from global consciousness. It appears to me that the fate of Israel’s current leadership will be similar, or even worse.

The International Court of Justice’s verdicts are awaiting those guilty of war crimes. The next reality is that Israel’s military has been defeated; this is why they are appealing for a two-month ceasefire, but no one is willing to listen. The reason is that this 14-month war has evolved into guerrilla warfare in recent months. Interestingly, in this ongoing war, Israel faces Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthi fighters. There is no country fighting Israel with an army, navy, or air force. Israel is not fighting a state but organizations. Iran’s support for these organizations is evident, yet it is not directly involved in the war. This reality is apparent to observers worldwide. If this situation continues, Israel’s difficulties will increase as time passes. If this conflict widens over three or four years, Israel’s existence and survival will be in severe jeopardy, making a U.S.-backed regime change for Israel seem natural. Soon, a regime change in Israel will also be a natural and inevitable outcome.

I should clarify that the factor that has prevented this war from spreading across the region is Iran’s bold stance. What has restrained this conflict from engulfing the entire region is the military, nuclear, and defense power of my beloved homeland, Pakistan. According to my friend Qari Umar Jathol, Israel intended to escalate attacks on Iran, targeting its nuclear assets and also extending aggression toward Pakistan. Those awake among us sent a stern, united message. This message came from Saudi Arabia, Iran, and my homeland, Pakistan, from those who remain vigilant, led by General Syed Asim Munir and General Asim Malik. This allied message shook Netanyahu’s resolve; hence, now there is no option but peace. I say that this peace will progress. It will make an impact in Ukraine as well. Netanyahu and Volodymyr Zelensky share similar beliefs and have brought the world to the brink of a global conflagration. The sacrifices of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen’s Houthis have brought peace closer. The martyrdoms in Gaza and the sacrifices of the people of southern Lebanon have compelled the world to reconsider its path. With Trump’s emergence, the conditions have become favorable, and there is strong hope for this to continue. Allah Almighty’s command will again remind the world, “Whenever these (Jews) kindle the fire of war, Allah extinguishes it. They seek to spread corruption on the earth, and Allah does not like those who spread corruption” (Al-Ma’idah: 64).

When I took the letter “A” from Iran, “S” from Saudi Arabia, and “P” from Pakistan, it formed “ASP,” meaning “horse.” These three countries have now become a powerful horse. This will also end sectarian strife, much of which has already been resolved, and more should follow. After this, let us advance and unite the entire Muslim world. Then, let us move further and bring all humanity with us. Mount the horse of peace. When we step into the international hall of peace, present the model of the Mercy for All Worlds (the Prophet ﷺ) to the world.

When the Kaaba was damaged by a flood, a decision was made to rebuild it. As mentioned in “Seerat Ibn Ishaq,” Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was 35 years old at the time. In “At-Tabakat,” “Akhbar Makkah,” and “Seerat Ibn Hisham,” it is mentioned that the Quraysh divided the reconstruction work by drawing lots. The part including the eastern side of the Kaaba was assigned to Banu Abd Manaf and Banu Zuhrah. The portion between the Black Stone and Rukn Yamani was entrusted to Banu Makhzum, Banu Taym, and some other Qurayshi tribes. The western side at the back was assigned to Banu Jumah and Banu Sahm, while the part near Hatim was given to Banu Abd-ud-Dar, Banu Asad, and Banu Adi. Each tribe was busy with its assigned portion of the construction, but when it came to placing the Black Stone, a dispute arose over who would set it in its place. Each tribe claimed the right. The matter escalated to the point where a bloodshed decision seemed inevitable. Banu Abd-ud-Dar brought a bowl filled with blood and dipped their hands in it in front of everyone, indicating a pact of bloodshed if denied. Finally, it was decided that the first person to enter the Haram through the Gate of Sheba would resolve the dispute. As they waited, they saw Muhammad ibn Abdullah (ﷺ) approaching. Everyone agreed, “Al-Amin (the Trustworthy) has come. We accept his decision.” The Prophet ﷺ listened to the matter and, after placing the Black Stone on a cloth, asked each tribe to hold one corner and lift it together to the designated spot. He then placed the Black Stone himself, and everyone was satisfied with his judgment.

May this kind of justice prevail in Gaza, southern Lebanon, Israel, and Ukraine. May the justice of my Prophet ﷺ shine forth, wars be averted, and peace adorn humanity.
